Today’s world is behind Data or the Databases, whether it’s SQL RDBMS database or Non-RDBMS NoSQL Databases. With the invention and usage of Android devices, the kind of data generated across the world vide multiple platforms, it has become very tedious to derive management related reports. There is a huge financial requirement to purchase, deploy & maintain those computers systems. Everybody cannot afford to do, but again as per their business requirement they need data from multiple resources, here the benefits of Cloud Computing comes in picture.
Cloud computing is using a shared system. Servers or Hardware are not located in own premises. All Business and Non-Business applications are available via Web using the Internet. Technically, we are moving out all our applications outside organizations firewall. It’s typically, “as-required, pay-per-use” business model. Cloud service business owner have to pay for the services used. The cloud infrastructure is hosted and maintained by the cloud provider.
In Cloud computing, networks are large groups of shared servers. IT infrastructure contains large pools of systems linked with each other. Virtualization techniques are used to maximize the power of cloud computing.
A cloud service provider usually takes advantage of theses low-cost computing technology, with some specialized connections across them to make cloud computing work. Currently, the standards for connecting the computer systems and the software are not fully defined, so many companies define their own cloud computing technologies.
Cloud computing service that is mostly used today in corporate data centers. The cloud enables the data center to operate like the Internet and computing resources to be accessed and shared as virtual resources in a secure and scalable manner. Like other technologies, for adoption & shifting trends start by small business enterprise owners.

Benefits of Small Business enterprise (SMB) in Cloud Computing

Cloud computing is fast adopted by the small and medium-size business. These sectors have the problem of lack of time and financial resources to purchase, deploy and maintain a computer-based infrastructure mainly the software, server, and storage.
In cloud computing, SMB owner can access these resources using an Internet connection and Web browser. One can expand or shrink the services as per business requirements. The pay-as-you-go subscription model gives the SMBs to easily add or remove services and they typically pay for what they use.

What is Public Cloud?

Public Cloud computing denotes a cloud computing platform that is outside own organizations’ or premises and commonly on shared systems. In this scenario, the cloud service provider controls the infrastructure.

What is Private Cloud?

This platform implemented within the corporate. It is under the control of the organization’s IT department.

What is the difference between a Private Cloud and a Public Cloud?

Both the cloud computing offer the same features and benefits, but Public Cloud still has numbers of objections over the private model as control over corporate and customer data. Worries about security and issues connected to regulatory compliance etc.

What to learn in Cloud Computing?

Today many freshers think and believe that the term cloud computing is another buzzword. It represents many technologies or numbers of technologies. Grid computing, utility computing, software-as-a-service (SaaS), Internet-based applications, autonomic computing, peer-to-peer computing, and remote processing are the technologies in Cloud. When most people use these terms, freshers may have one of these ideas in mind making it confusing to understand.

Then what to learn in Cloud learning?  Big question!

We have tried to make you understand that what you have to learn for jumping into the Cloud Computing arena is not itself the cloud or its components, rather it is self-explanatory that you need to learn the Databases which will be installed in the Cloud, or the applications (whether it is an operating system or a business application)

And what are the installation functionality of these for the cloud computing? If you do not understand the core functionality of Database Installation, then can you install that in the Cloud? NO!
Then try to understand that it is not small software or the language which you learn and start working. At present worldwide there many Cloud Service Provider. Amazon Web Services or AWS) which provides free service on certain terms. It provides the documentation for the installing the software or the Databases in the Cloud. Treating as a core career path may be risky, and be the add-on with your core.
You can also see the AWS free tier, using some/any of the Databases and get some learning path into it. We would also like to draw your attention that there are many institutions offering to learn for Cloud Computing in any part of INDIA. But I ask you whether are you sure about the learning with career growth or the job prospect?  So before jumping in Cloud Computing please do proper homework.

Conclusion:

For CLOUD, Knowledge of Database Programming, application/ERP software development is necessary. So if you are really thinking of Up-skilling your career to get a good career path, then why not jump into Database Programming which will open up your track for these kinds of add-on courses. Never think it’s too late to up-skill.
